Hailing from New Orleans Donald Mutin Jr is a rapper, songwriter, producer and singer. Emerging from the underground his music is genuine and raw. You can feel his heartfelt lyrics. New Orleans culture gave him the inspiration and motivation to create because of acts like: Cash Money, Master P. , Anthony Hamilton, John Mayer and B.B. King.

In 2005 when Hurricane Katrina forced Donnie and his family to move to Texas he learned how to play piano and guitar. It didn’t stop there as he would record and sell his mixtapes in school to help his mom pay the bills. His music is different in the sense that he draws his musical tonation from Led Zeppelin,Guns N’ Roses and more.

Finally in 2017 his hard work paid off as he got a buzz from the track “Never Going Back” . His relaxed style, vivid lyrics, and smooth R&B hooks, Donnie would continue to show he is next up in the music industry.

His next hit which blew up in Jamaica, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico titled “Waiting For” boosted his reach to a different market that he didn’t even foresee.

In 2020 he gave us his first EP where he describes his relationships, trials and tribulations in “What Happened Last Thursday.” The hit of that album was none other than “Farewell Letter” which reached Tiktok, Triller and Instagram.

Now that he has hundreds and thousands of fans across social media it is safe to say that he will get a record deal this year in 2020.
